🔗 Website: http://www.dexknows.com
This is a U.S. business directory website with over 100 years of history — its data is highly reliable! It contains detailed records of many American companies, allowing you to search by keywords or city.
Let’s see how it works:

1. Search by Category
First, select your target city — for example, choose New York, and then further select an industry category.
If I select “New York” and “auto parts,” I can directly view a list of companies that meet these criteria.
The information is quite detailed — including phone number, fax, website, and address.
2. Search by Product or Industry Keywords
For example, search for “LED lighting” and choose “Los Angeles” as the location — you can quickly find relevant companies along with their company details and contact information.
Click on a company name to view more details such as name, address, website, business hours, and industry category. Most listings contain this essential information.
Once you’ve collected a list of potential customers, you can start targeted business development.
Important Note
Not all companies found on Dexknows are involved in import or export — it’s primarily a business directory used for background checks.
To confirm whether a company engages in international trade, we can further filter and verify using trade data.
Step 1: Use Trade Data to Check Import/Export Activities
🔗 Trade Data Platform: https://www.tendata.com/
This is the trade data tool I personally use. If you don’t have one yet, you can give it a try.
If you already have access to another database, feel free to use your own.
For example, take the company BORIN MANUFACTURING INC. — copy the name into Tendata’s search bar and check its latest purchase records, suppliers, and transaction details.
From this, you can confirm whether the company is indeed engaged in import/export activities.
You can also use the platform to find the decision-maker’s information and get direct contact details.

Step 2: Develop Leads via LinkedIn

Once you find the company decision-makers on LinkedIn, you can:
·Learn about their latest product updates and needs
·Follow up continuously
·Build connections and start meaningful communication
