Compared with US$1.1 billion in 2021, the total value of exported cinnamon declined by 18.6% over the past five years. However, export revenues showed a slight year-over-year recovery, increasing by 1.8% from US$882.4 million in 2024.

In 2022, global exports of cinnamon amounted to a total of US$765.8 million. Export figures for cinnamon have seen a steady increase, with an average growth of 10.8% since 2018 when export sales amounted to $665.1 million.
