In 2024, the Republic of Indonesia exported goods valued at US$264.7 billion to global markets.
That figure represents a robust 62.1% increase compared with 2020, when Indonesian exports stood at $163.3 billion. From 2023 to 2024, Indonesia's shipments grew a more modest 2.3%, rising from $258.8 billion.
The top five markets for Indonesian products were mainland China, the United States, Japan, India, and Singapore. Together, these countries accounted for 53.7% of Indonesia's total export revenues in 2024.
Viewed regionally, most Indonesian goods stayed within Asia. In fact, nearly 73.9% of exports were sold to other Asian nations. North America received 11.4%, while Europe absorbed 8.4%.
Smaller shares went to importers in Africa (2.4%), Oceania (2.3%)—with Australia as the top buyer—and Latin America (1.6%), excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean.
